WAIMR's New Look DNAge Newsletter

At the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of innovation in many ways, so we hope you notice our latest DNAge has a fresh, vibrant look, which reinforces our philosophy that medical research is all about building healthier lives for a bright future.

The latest edition of our WAIMR newsletter features a story about the McCusker Charitable Foundation and a generous donation of $1.5 million which will contribute to WAIMR's new facility at QEII. Construction is due to begin in the new year. Malcolm McCusker has been a wonderful supporter of Western Australian medical research for many years, leading the capital campaign which started the Institute more than ten years ago, and it's only fitting that he and his family should be on the front page.

The new format DNAge newsletter also features an article about a Perth man who aided our research while losing weight by eating lupin products, details about our award winning scientists and more.

You'll also notice that the changes made by WAIMR's new Department of Fundraising and Public Affairs include the creation of a more seasonally focused DNAge newsletter. We hope you love sand castles as much as we do!
