Sorrento Fun Day to Raise Funds for Skin Cancer Research

The Sorrento Beach foreshore will be transformed into a sea of colour next Sunday (November 29) as one of the country's leading financial service providers helps raise much-needed funds for WA-based skin cancer research.

The Suncorp event comes just ahead of the first official day of summer and funds raised will go towards projects being undertaken by the Scott Kirkbride Melanoma Research Centre (SKMRC), based at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR) in Nedlands.

The free-entry Family Fun Day will take place at the Sorrento Beach foreshore from 10am to 3pm and will feature jumping castles, balloon animal demonstrations, a sausage sizzle and Suncorp Bank giveaways.

There will also be a prize draw to win memorabilia signed by Australian cricket legend Adam Gilchrist.
